| South of Mandalay and on the other side of the Ayeyarwady river you will find places like Amarapura, Mingun and Sagaing. Many of the buildings, temples, stupas, and infrastructure were severely damaged by the powerful earthquake of 28 March 2025, which had its epicenter near Sagaing. The photos shown here were taken well before that event. |
